This device works by emitting a series of ultrasound impulses that are harmless and imperceptible for both humans and animals, but that disturb ticks and fleas, repelling them from pets and keeping them away.
Operating range is about 1.5 meters. This highly effective product offers a principally preventive, ideal solution for repelling ticks and fleas in a totally ecological way and without contraindications of any kind.
It is not suitable for disinfecting pets that are already intensely infested. In tick season, it is strongly recommended to be attached to the collar of the pet and worn continuously, also at home. It becomes fully effective in 24 hours after activation. Its effectiveness depends also on the state of the fur and the degree of contamination of the pet's environment.
In individual cases, in strongly infested areas, some ticks may get onto the pet while wearing the device- in such cases the tick has to be removed in the usual way.

Usage Guidelines:
Attach the device to the collar with the side with slits towards the animal. Remove the plastic tab to connect the lithium battery already present (not replaceable).Four flashes show that the device is on. To see if it is still operating press the button and check that the light still flashes.
Moisture does not damage the device (IP13), but the repeller is NOT waterproof- direct contact with water should be avoided or the device must be dried to avoid damages. Battery life is about 1 year
